what's going on?

I haven't written in awhile. I've been through so many emotions lately, and it got the best of me. Thankfully, the weather warmed up and things are making more sense.

Recent happenings:

Caus and I visited our friends Julie and Drew for Game Night! I don't usually play a lot of games, but I really like Apples to Apples. But my all time favorite game to play is...battleship! That was my favorite game as a kid too, lol.

Caus and I also went one weekend to Asheville as a get-away trip. The weekend went by really fast, but we had a really nice time. I actually got to meet a really old friend of his! But one of the things that drew us in that direction was Hickory Nut Falls. It is one of the highest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. It is so beautiful too.

We walked about 1/2 to get there. It was a little chilly, but we were so happy because we are very "nature" people. We love the Earth that God created. It's also a great escape from all the bullshit in life.
So, now we've decided to make waterfalls our thing. We even pinned a bunch of them together, lol. Currently, I'm wanting to go to Nigeria Falls.

We've done some other things that weren't captured on film, such as going to Medevial Times. As a kid, I would have loved it. As an adult, I thought it was only slightly fun. Our meal consisted of a rib, a small chicken (at least it felt that way), a potato wedge and tomato soup. We had to eat all that meat with our hands too. I wouldn't have made it...lol. So, this reminds me of Elementary school when we took a trip to some Medevial times and one of my classmates got lost. I just remember standing at the front of the festival for a super, long time. Back to the original MT. We were actually an hour late, so we missed most of the show, but we did get to see some jousting.

Annual reviews went down this week. Thankfully, I received wonderful feedback and potential good news. I finally feel like life is falling into place now...
