Hero

I thought Thursday was just an ordinary day, but it turned into something that was anything but. We were getting ready to go outside when I looked over and my TA was holding her throat, saying that she needed my help. I said, "You can't breathe?" So immediately, I perform the heimlich until she burped, which opened her passageway. During this time, the TA next door walked by and asked if we needed help. I said, "Yes" and she ran to get the director. By the time she arrived, my TA was breathing and okay. Oddly enough the director didn't even say thank you or good job to me. She stood in my class for a couple of minutes until someone could help me out (My TA was getting some fresh air outside). My TA was very appreciative though. While it was just a reaction to help her; it felt so good to save someone's life. We all have so much to live for, and all I could think was *she has two kids at home. they need her.* So, I am so thankful that I took CPR/First Aid training, even if the school I took it from won't give me proof of my certification.

I am still sick, and it sucks. I can't even fully enjoy my weekend, again!!! I know I need to get more sleep during the week and get back on my workouts. Both of those things help so much, but I also know the building I work in is contributing. I haven't been this sick since I started working in Pre-K in a really old, moldy building. I'm allergic to all of that stuff--dust, mold, etc. It sucks that I need that job, so I will just continue to look for other avenues. My health is important, and I really need health insurance more than anything. My allergies are so severe, and I'm not entirely sure that my meds are working at their best anymore, but allergies are too expensive to go to the doctor for. :(

Last night we hung out with some friends and played 'Apples to Apples'. It was a fun game, but I think it would be really fun to play with people that you're super close with. I believe that friends that you've known for so long would really get the reason why you choose certain cards for each category, and that would just add to the fun! lol.

I was suppose to go to Greenville, SC to visit my friend for her birthday tonight, but I can't afford to go after paying for that accident. It really sucks. Everyone else around here is doing stuff for Halloween, but we have no money for that either. I'm not crazy about Halloween, but I think it is fun to dress up and pretend to be someone else. : )

I received a letter/cd from one of my best friends today. It made my heart smile. Miss you Kristen!!
