Our weekend was good, even though I was sick, and still am. :/
Friday--Our friend, Eric had some free tickets to the movies, so Caus and I we went with him to see 50/50. It had some funny moments, but it was also sad. I think it really touched me because I've seen so many of my family members battle cancer and eventually lose their life to it. While, I know they are in heaven and not in pain, the process of watching them go through that is horrible.
Saturday--I tutored my little girl. I was glad to see that she remembered some of the things we talked about. I try to make it as much fun as possible, because I know it is incredibly frustrating when you're having trouble learning. Tutoring her has really made me realize that I would really like to teach Reading. I thinking I may get my specialist in Reading now. I definitely need a specialization because while Pre-K is fun; it's not for me. Thankfully, God has shown me an area that I would really enjoy teaching. : )
The rest of Saturday was spent relaxing. ;)
Sunday--A little grocery shopping. Caus and I finally put together the air hockey table that we've had since March, lol. We were actually tied playing air hockey, but stopped playing because we thought we were making too much noise. On the flip side, I'm horrible at ping pong. I really don't have much hand-eye coordination. haha. We relaxed some more and eventually went to bed early.
So today, I came home to find my neighborhood's stuff outside their apartment. The only thing we can figure is they are getting evicted. It is so sad. She is a single Mom with 3 kids and seeing the sadness on their faces is so heartbreaking. I just hope that they have somewhere to go. I would never wish hardship on anyone for any reason.
I was feeling better until I went to work today. Now, I've developed a cough and possibly another sinus infection. I wish I could afford to stay home from work and see a doctor, but we don't have the funds, especially now since we're having to pay out of pocket for the $500 deductible and our rental car. While we may be reimbursed for part of it; currently we're just out of money. I'm trying not to worry and stay positive because I know the Lord will provide for us.
