Deals and positivity

Finally made it to Thanksgiving break. It's nice to be off from work, but I know not getting paid this week is gonna hurt just a little bit. But I do have total faith in the Lord. He always provides for us.

I had another interview today for Fulton Co. It's for a part-time position, but the benefits out weigh the non-benefits. I never get my hopes up anymore though. I just go in and give my all and pray that God will lead me to the appropriate opportunity.

I also finally got to go to the Gyno and get my yearly check-up. I'm pretty dang healthy, and I'm proud of that!! It did make me laugh though that the Dr. gave me a sack of condoms. haha.
Over the weekend, Caus and I also found quite the steal in this new thrift store across from our apartment. We got a couch and a big comfy chair for $50!! Yes, we probably should have saved that money, but it was such an awesome deal that we couldn't pass it up! Plus, it's what we've been looking for, but couldn't afford it anywhere else. It is so nice to have all that empty space filled. We've been trying really hard to make our apt feel like home, and these additions definitely help!

I've really been trying to worry less...about everything. I just surround myself with the Lord, love and positivity. I believe that is the only way to survive life. :)
